You always rock my boat! Thank you for so eloquently explaining what my 'monkey-brain' is telling me. Now I can tell is to shut up and go away! Big hugs!

Thank you for this sensitive and wonderful article. Me to a "t" and now maybe I can learn to quit feeling guilty.

Midlife gives us such an opportunity to decide who we want to be. There are parts of the younger and current versions of ourselves we still want to keep, while making space to add new parts that are meaningful and joyous.

I’ve been feeling this for awhile and I love this article. The rehearsing reasons part- wow- done that a million times! I don’t now thank God but I’ll begin to and stop myself. It’s such a habit!!! I feel like I’m on the stand and I need all the facts to lay out!!! Insanity.

Love this for so many reasons. Our histories are evolving whether we know it or not. When we realize this, we’re different.
